During the Holy Week of 2016 the ‘Holy Spirit’ Armenian Church in Amsterdam hosted a reading, dedicated to the 10th century Armenian Holy monk and philosopher St. Grigor Narekatsi. Numerous participants, from parish members to clergy of Amsterdam sister churches, recited personally selected prayers from Grigor Narekatsi’s fascinating ‘Book of Lamentations’.
