At this special annual gathering in the Holy Spirit Armenian Church in Amsterdam during the Holy Week, a multilingual group of spiritual leaders, parish members, teachers of the Sunday School, foundation board members and others read prayers from the ‘Book of Lamentations’ by St. Grigor Narekatsi.

The 2018 edition was extra special, since it was attended by Archbishop Vahan Hovhanessian and the leaders of nummerous sister churches from The Netherlands: Bishop Hendriks of the Roman-Catholic diocese Haarlem-Amsterdam, Bishop Anba Arseny of the Coptic-Orthodox Church Netherlands, and Bishop Polycarpus Augin Aydin of the Syrian-Orthodox Church Netherlands. The prayers were read in Armenian, Russian, Arabic, English and Dutch and accompanied with translations, music and images.
