The annual recital by the St. Grigor Narekatsi Sunday School in 2017 was connected to the ‘Day of the Armenian Republic’. The enthousiasm of the students in the school theater hall was admirable. The stage was decorated as an Oriental marketplace. Several performances were given by the students from all age groups, from Armenian poetry, song, dance and drama. Spectators were taken along on a journey from Yerevan to Baghdad and Aleppo to Constantinopel.
